Prana Flow Level - 1| Level 2 | Level 3
Prana Flow® Yoga, an energetic vinyasa, is a full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga created by Shiva Rea. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana – the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence – as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Experience innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow within the rhythm of class.
Gentle Yoga - Level 1
A soothing experience that includes breathing and relaxation practices along with gentle expoloration of therapeutic stretches and postures.
HOT Prana Flow Yoga - Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3
Heat up your flow with our HOT Prana Flow® class. The yoga room is kept at approx. 80-90 degrees to allow the muscles to relax and open. HOT classes are heated for deeper mental and physical detoxification and challenge.
Yoga Express - Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3
Take a break out of your day with this energetic one hour Prana Flow® class offered during lunch and various other times. Revive your mind and body to carry you through your day.
Fire & Flow Yoga - Level 1 | Level 2
An all-level yoga class featuring, upbeat music and an energizing flow in intervals with kriyas (heating repetitive yoga movements) or even dance. It’s the perfect way to break out of the box and work out any stress that may be residing inside.
Restorative Yoga - Level 1
Rejuvenate and restore your body and mind with this tranquil class. Relax over blankets and find a deeper bliss with a long and refreshing shavasana (deep relaxation). Wonderful to alleviate stress, anxiety & depressios. All levels are encouraged and welcomed to attend.
The practice of inviting stillness and yielding your heart and mind through your body into quiet. Combining Taoist Yoga with traditional yoga to activate the meridians or nadis (lines of energy in the body) to waken prana or chi. We stretch the connective tissues and put positive stress on the joints and bones by holding poses on the floor for 3 to 6 minutes. As you rest in the calm of the poses discomfort may arise. Everything is optional and modifications are always available. Then throughout the class poems and readings are offered.
Yin is the yoga of stillness and Yang is the more active practice you know. Now we are going to start our practice with yoga flow for 30 minutes, moving through Sun Salutations with Warrior variations to build heat so when it’s time to be quiet and yield in Yin, you’re ready. Yin stretches the connective tissue and creates flexibility so needed for those of us who tend toward a more active practice where we tear the muscles to build them. We will flow for 30 minutes and then work the prana in Yin yoga for 45 minutes.
Pilates Mat - Level 1 | Level 2
Taught in the traditional, classical method designed by J.H. Pilates. Strengthen and lengthen from your core for full body vitality. We offer a prescribed sequence of exercises taught by Power Pilates certified instructors. Level 2 class is recommended with a minimum of 10 beginner Pilates mat or Pilates Equipment classes.
Pilates Total Fitness - Level 1 | Level 2
Enjoy 30 minutes of Pilates Mat followed by strength-based exercises utilizing lightweights, magic circle, or resistance bands – a complete total body workout from the core out. Recommended for Intermediate students with a minimum of 10 beginner Pilates mat or Intro to Pilates Equipment classes.
Pilates Equipment - Level 1 | Level 2
Our class includes up to 3 students with one instructor for 55 minutes. You will utilize all of the Pilates apparatus as well as Pilates Mat work. Intro to Pilates Equipment is appropriate for the Pilates raw beginner or those who are new to Pilates equipment. Level 2 for intermediate Pilates students. (These classes are separate from the standard Pilates mat classes & are an additional cost). Must pre-register for class online to reserve your spot. (24-hour cancellation policy)
Barre Fitness - All Levels
Ananda Shala's Barre Fitness class is a one hour full body workout that fuses the best elements of ballet, pilates, sports conditioning and stretching for a truly unique and fun experience. The moves are low impact but high intensity intervals of strength training followed immediately by deep recovery stretching. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique.
(These classes are separate from the standard Pilates mat classes & are an additional cost).

Donation Based Yoga Class - Level 1 | Level 2
Join our newest up and coming instructors who are completing our teacher training program for this donation-based Yoga class on Sundays at 4:30 pm. This is our way of giving back to the community and all of you who have been so supportive to Ananda Shala. A level 1/2 class (an intemediate class) with options offered for beginner students. If you are new to yoga we recommend you begin with a level 1 class first. Be sure to PRE-REGISTER ONLINE or call to register no more than a week in advance, as space is very limited.
Free / Donation-Based Smiling Buddha Meditation
Enjoy a guided meditation created by Buddha himself. The meditation uses, the power of mantra (sound vibrations that create corresponding states of consciousness), mudra (hand positions that create certain energy flow in the subtle body), eye positions, mental focus and the science of spirit to bestow it’s wonderfully uplifting benefits. This class meets on Sundays at 4:30 pm.
